Welcome Back!

To all parents and students, old faces and new,

I welcome you back to an exciting and enjoyable year of music!

Please enjoy reading about my most recent musical achievements

In June I recorded Debussy’s ‘Jardin sous la pluie’ at Tapeworks Recording Studio in Hartford. On June 29th the recording was released on Apple Music, Spotify, & iTunes. My recording is featured on Spotify as the Artist’s Pick of the Claude Debussy composer homepage. Since its release, I have had over 1,800+ streams on Spotify alone!

In August, I had the honor of attending a portion of the Adamant School of Music’s prestigious Masterclass Series featuring world renowned pianist Menahem Pressler. This intimate retreat in Vermont has further enriched my musical education. At 95 years old, Mr. Pressler is currently the world’s oldest professional concertizing pianist. In the past fifteen years I have traveled to some 30+ masterclasses and performances by Mr. Pressler, and under his advice, he has inspired me to record Mozart Sonata K.333 this semester. I look forward to sharing my recording with him, and with all of you!

This summer I was chosen by Steinway & Sons to participate in their Professional Instrument Evaluation Program. This program provides detailed feedback given directly to their manufacturing departments to help shape, touch, and tone for future designs. I played in Steinway’s showroom in Greenwich and gave them an in-depth, personal assessment.
